INTERNET SALES POLICY
The
purpose for my website is to provide all our
existing customers, and those who have not
heard of us or visited our store, a look at
the extent of the services and merchandise
that we offer.
Whether
you simply need a minor part for your "old
reliable" machine, or are looking to purchase
the latest in state-of-the-art sewing, we can
help. No question is too trivial that
you should not ask us. We encourage you to get
comfortable with us. We listen to your needs
and try to find “the right” purchase or
service for you.
Striving
for and committed to provide The Gold
Standard in sales
and service to all whom come
into my shop.
Pricing and Product Information on Our
Website
While every attempt is made to
provide you with accurate pricing and
information on our products for sale, it is
possible for mistakes to happen. If for some
reason we find that something you have ordered
does not match our current price, or that we
are currently out of stock and it has not been
updated on our website, we will notify you
before the purchase so that you have the
option of declining the sale.
Purchasing a Machine
Locally vs. On the Internet
The Sewing
Garret
will NOT be able to sell or ship to you a
sewing machine directly from this Web site.
We realize that it is
very tempting to search the Internet to find
the "cheapest" price
on that new
machine you've
been looking for. However, the sewing industry
and in particular The
BabyLock and
Brother
product line has come to realize that without
proper dealer support it is nearly impossible
for you, the consumer, to get the most you can
from your new machine or software. It is the
services that we offer, such as unlimited
instruction on operation of your sewing
machine in a timely manner, free labor on all
warranty repairs, basic software instruction
continuously, personnel that is currently
trained to name a few, that make the purchase
of your new machine or software in our store a
mandate. Beware of Buy 'N
Die! We have read
that many people have made distant machine
purchases and then had problems trying to
get repairs to their machines and no
software lessons, plus some have received
machines not in working order and had to
pay extra to get them fixed at the local
dealer. This is why we recommend
that you purchase your machines locally.
In
addition, we
encourage you to visit and attend sewing and
embroidery events whenever possible, to
enhance your sewing creativity. There
are so many talented people with products,
techniques and tips that you will be inspired
to support them and this industry.
IF
while attending the event, BabyLock, Brother or Elna
products are featured please note that you can
and should offer us the opportunity to match
the offer and allow us the same service to you
that that distant event or dealer would be
extending to you, in reality. That
gesture on your part would allow you to keep
US as YOUR local dealer ready to serve you
after the event. So go have fun, get fired up
for more creativity and feel good about where
your service and education is going to come
from.
All
BabyLock and Brother products,
machines, software, embroidery cards, disks and
CDs, are not for sale on the Internet.
This restriction applies equally to Origins
software products.
Please come in for the
"personal service after the sale”, that the
Internet, or the big chain stores special
events and retreats are not able or willing
to provide when you are
in search for a machine that’s just right
for you!
