WELCOME!
Hello,
I would like to personally welcome
you to The Sewing Garret on our little piece
of cyberspace.
Since 1993 I’ve tried to impart the love of
sewing to another generation young and old. Vintage
fabric restoring and Heirloom sewing lessons
were my passion back then. Then embroidery
machines come along!! Brand new technology
and new opportunities to learn and teach digitizing
combines with
Martha Pullen School and I was off on yet another facet
of sewing. I must say the industry of sewing machines
keeps evolving and so does my curiosity to expand what
I know and then incorporate into past techniques and
achievements as well. My hope is to pass that
along to you, Elizabeth, Missy, Susan, Suzanne and Scott
in my shop.
Let me tell you about them.
Elizabeth loved to do quilting with her mother and grandmother.
She then got into embroidery with a Janome 10000.
She came to The Sewing Garret eager to learn whatever
there was new in sewing machines and software.
She has acquired for herself a Baby lock Ellegante,
Coverstitch, Imagine Wave,
Brother 2500D, and
lots of software. She has earned Certification
for instructing Masterworks, Baby lock’s exclusive
digitizing software. Want a
sewing, quilting or software class
let us know.
Missy is our junior
sewing and quilting teacher. She has taken classes
from us since she was 13. She is super with our
summer sewing and quilting classes and teaches the Palette
and PE design software.
Susan is the newest
member and will help me personally in the office but
will help with the phone calls and all the other little
things that helps us be the best customer service shop
around – she even gives directions to get to the golf
course for the husband’s to play a short 9 at Daytona
Beach Golf Club, just across the street.
Suzanne the new product
specialist, if you want to know if we have a new notion
or gizmo that makes sewing or quilting easier just ask
her – if its in our power to get it – she will let me
know. She’s the friendly voice that lets you know
your orders or repairs are ready for your pick-up.
While in the shop
meet Scott in the service department he is factory trained
by Baby lock and Brother. He was also mentored
by Mike for the Janomes, Elnas and the
older mechanical sewing machine
repairs, stop by and say hello and know your
machine is in good hands, when it needs service.
Thank you for allowing
me to introduce you to my staff-The Best
anywhere. We all go to schools to bring you to
most accurate and fun sewing for your Baby lock,
Brother,
Janome and Elna machines and software
SEE YOU SOON, SEW 4 FUN
